Getting start

To use the player, install these peer dependencies including typescript SDK for react native app.

yarn add \
@amityco/ts-sdk-react-native \
react-native-video \
react-native-vlc-media-player \
react-native-get-random-values \

Additional Configuration

IOS

cd ios && pod-install

Android

In android/build.gradle, add kotlinVersion above 1.7.0 and compileSdkVersion above 34 in buildscript > ext

Usage

1. Initialize AmityVideoPlayer using setupAmityVideoPlayer after login.

import {setupAmityVideoPlayer} from '@amityco/video-player-react-native';

const response = await Client.login(loginParam, sessionHandler);
setupAmityVideoPlayer();

2. Import AmityStreamPlayer and pass Amity stream object as stream prop. To get Amity.Stream object, please use StreamRepository.getStreamById()
