brightness
Adjust the brightness of a color
const { brightness } = require( '@rgba-image/color' )
// define r, g, b, a
const amount = 0.5
const newColor = brightness( r, g, b, a, amount )
The amount
argument should be between -1
and 1
brightnessUint32
takes the same arguments, but returns a uint32
color
Or use brightnessChannel
for a single channel:

contrast
Adjust the contrast of a color
const { contrast } = require( '@rgba-image/color' )
// define r, g, b, a

Applies a posterization effect to a color

Given a gradient of one or more stops, find the RGBA color at a given position:

A stop is an array containing [ R, G, B, A, position ]
position
is treated as being on a line from 0 to 1, but you can create
positions outside of the line boundaries if you wish
You can also work with gradients where the stops are uint32
values:
// these are the same as the rgba stops above, but as uint32 numbers
const stops = [
[ 2164234547, 0.25 ],
[ 4294940979, 0.5 ],

Invert a color:

mix
Get a color that is a mixture of two other colors:

position
should be a number between 0
and 1
- it is optional and if
omitted defaults to 0.5
, which mixes the colors together evenly

rgbaValuesToStops
Create gradient stops evenly distributed along a line 0
to 1
from an array
of RGBA values:
