Lotide

A mini clone of the Lodash library.

Purpose

BEWARE: This library was published for learning purposes. It is not intended for use in production-grade software.

This project was created and published by me as part of my learnings at Lighthouse Labs.

Usage

Install it:

npm install @wei-paul/lotide

Require it:

const _ = require('@wei-paul/lotide');

Call it:

const results = _.tail([1, 2, 3]) // => [2, 3]

Documentation

The following functions are currently implemented:

  • without: function that takes 2 parameters (sourceArray, itemsToRemove), to return a new array without the (itemsToRemove)
  • takeUntil: function that returns each of the index in an array until user's input (must pass in your own function inside takeUntil)
  • map: function that reorganizes the array to however you want (must pass in your own function inside map)
  • head: function that find and returns the first index in an array.
  • middle: function that find and returns the most middle index(es) in an array
  • tail: function that find and returns everything but the first index in an array.
