Initial Setup

1. If needed, install Git from git-scm.com

2. If needed, install Node.js from nodejs.org

3. Open cmd.

4. Clone the Git repository to your local machine by running cmd:

git clone https://github.com/LeerixLabs/artemis-core.git c:/github/artemis-core

1. Change directory to within your local repository by running cmd:

cd c:/github/artemis-core

1. Import npm dependencies by running cmd:

npm i

1. Ensure all was done correctly by running cmd:

gulp

Development

Building the Library Files

gulp pack

This will build these files into the ./dist/ directory:

• artemis.core.js
• artemis.core.js.map
• artemis.core.min.js

Running the Tests

gulp test

This will execute all the tests inside the ./test/jasmine/ directory

Publishing

1. Validate that everything is okay by running cmd:

gulp

1. Update the new version number on ./package.json

2. Commit and push the change.

3. Validate Travis build passes.

4. Create a new release on GitHub.

5. Login to npm by running cmd:

npm login

1. Publish artemis.core.min.js to the npm registry by running cmd:

npm publish
