permission String One of "AUDIO_RECORDING", "CALENDAR", "CAMERA", "CAMERA_ROLL", "CONTACTS", "LOCATION", "NOTIFICATIONS", "REMINDERS", "SYSTEM_BRIGHTNESS", "USER_FACING_NOTIFICATIONS"

The function usePermissions expects one single parameter, the required permission. For more info about expo permissions, read the expo-permissions documentation.

Methods

status String The status of the permission
isChecking Boolean Whether the permission is being checked
isUndetermined Boolean Whether the permission has never been asked yet
isGranted Boolean Whether the permission has been granted
isDenied Boolean Whether the permission has been denied
ask Function Ask the permission
goToSettings Function Go to the OS' settings to change the given permission
