Create Github repository with freerepo

Simplicity is the main priority, Just use one line of command then your repository will be created and clone and opened in to your VS code like a magic..

Available commands

  • First open your bash Terminal and type,-

    npx freerepo <repository-name>

    then press Enter, It will crate a private repository.

  • If you want to create a public repository then add -p flag at the end;-

    npx freerepo <repository-name> -p

    then press Enter, It will crate a Public repository.

With this command, your repository will create and cloned in your local machine at directory ~/Desktop then it will open with your VS code editor automatically if vs code available on your machine. Otherwise it will open to your file manager.

NOTE

There are some prerequisite to use freerepo

  • You must have to bash CLI in your system.
  • You must have to install github CLI in your machine.
  • You must have to logged in to github CLI.
