abbreviate

Abbreviates a string by returning the first character of each word.

Parameters

capitalize

Capitalizes the first letter of a string and converts the rest to lowercase.

Parameters

center

Center aligns the given string within a new string of the specified length, padded with the specified character.

Parameters

De-capitalizes the first letter of a string.

endsWith

Checks if a string ends with the specified substring.

Parameters

endsWith("Hello World", "World"); // Returns true
endsWith("Hello World", "Worlds"); // Returns false

equalsIgnoreCase

Checks if two strings are equal ignoring the case.

Parameters

str1 {string} none The first string to compare.

{boolean} - A boolean indicating if the strings are equal ignoring the case.

equalsIgnoreCase("Hello World", "hello world"); // Returns true

escapeHTML

Escapes HTML characters.

first

Returns the first character of a string.

Parameters

isAlNum

Checks if the string contains only alphanumeric characters.

Parameters

Returns the length of a string.

limit

Limits the length of a string.

Parameters

Returns the indices of the finding string in the input string.

Pads a string with another string.

Parameters

repeat

repeats a string by defined times.

Converts a string to title case.
