Lotide

A mini clone of the Lodash library.

Purpose

BEWARE: This library was published for learning purposes. It is not intended for use in production-grade software.

This project was created and published by me as part of my learnings at Lighthouse Labs.

Usage

Install it:

npm install @ebenak2000/lotide

Require it:

const _ = require('@ebenak2000/lotide');

Call it:

const results = _.tail([1, 2, 3]) // => [2, 3]

Documentation

The following functions are currently implemented:

  • head(array): hence the head, this function returns the first element of an array
  • tail(array): Returns a new array and discards the first element.
  • middle(array): This returns the middle of any array.
  • eqArrays(array1, array2): Checks if two arrays are equal to eachother.
  • assertEqual(actual, expected): Asserts if two values are equal to eachother.
  • assertArraysEqual(array1, array2): Asserts if two arrays are equal to eachothers.
