PODs are updated to works with 0.61 and up.(Tested in 0.61.5)
Add it to your project
Run
yarn add https://github.com/razorRun/react-native-vlc-player.git
yarn add react-native-vector-icons
yarn add react-native-slider

Run react-native link react-native-vlc-player
ios
Use framework
- cd to ios
- run
pod init
- add
pod 'MobileVLCKit-unstable', '3.0.0a44'
to pod file - run
pod install
Enable Bitcode in root project select Build Settings ---> find Bitcode and select Enable Bitcode
Use
