Spreadsheet

A CommonJS module for reading Google Spreadsheets.

Install

It's available on npm, so a simple npm install spreadsheet should be enough.

Usage

var Spreadsheet = require("spreadsheet");

// Instantiate a spreadsheet using the key directly.
var sheet = new Spreadsheet("mykey");

// Or just let the module extract it from an URL.
var sheet = Spreadsheet.fromURL("http://shared...")

// Load the worksheets, callback will be called for each worksheet
sheet.worksheets(function(err,ws){
	// Each worksheet allows you to go through each row.
	ws.eachRow(function(err,row,meta){
		// `row` is an object with all the fields of that row.
		// `meta` is an object like {index: 1, total: 2, id: "https://...", update: Date()}
	})
	
	// Or each cell.
	ws.eachCell(function(err,cell,meta){
		// `cell` is an object like {row: 1, col: 1, value: "Hello!"}
		// `meta` is an object like {index: 1, total: 2, id: "https://...", update: Date()}
	})

// You can also work with just one worksheet by page number
