YouTube BPM Playlist 🍵

Create a youtube playlist for songs of certain bpm tempo 🚀

Before using it

For this program to work you need to have a valid API Key for YouTube. This is free and to obtain one you have to follow this procedure.

You can save your api key as an env variable YOUTUBE_DATA_API_3 or add it inline with the --apikey variable.

Youtube API has a daily 10.000 units limit per day, but each search "costs" 100 units. So for example each playlist will aprox. cost 2.500 units (searching about 25 song). This result that the app can be used about 4 times a day. More info: https://developers.google.com/youtube/v3/getting-started#quota

Install 🔨

$ npm install -g youtube-bpm-playlist

$ ytb-bpm --bpm 110 --genre 44 --apikey "AIvaSyC0vcw1PS1Q17uLqvTKZAaO1IS9i9945gw"
