A CLI tool for Code Fundi; an AI assistant that helps you write better code faster.

Code Fundi is an AI coding assistant that helps developers write better code faster. With our service, you can cut down development time by eliminating the need to manually browse the web looking for solutions and instead, have the solutions generated directly in your code editor.

Code Fundi offers code debugging, code generation, code explanation and many more features that help developers deliver bug free code in minimal time.

Before you begin

To get started, Create an Account with Code Fundi. By creating an account, you’ll automatically be on the Free plan. Code Fundi's free plan gives you access to try our service and improve your development process.

Requirements

• NodeJS.

Installation

You can install the cli tool with the following command:

npm install -g @codefundi/cli

Usage

Displaying the CODE FUNDI Logo

To display the CODE FUNDI logo in a stylish gradient format, simply run the following command:

codefundi

Enabling Chat Option

To enable the chat option, use the -c or --chat flag followed by your question:

codefundi -c "How can I center a div?"

Enabling Debug Mode

To enable debug mode, use the -d or --debug flag followed by a path to the file you want fixed:

codefundi -d webServer/index.js

Enabling Explain Mode

To enable explain mode, use the -e or --explain flag followed by a path to the file you want explained:

codefundi -e webServer/README.md

This will enable explain mode and provide additional context and code explanations.

Silent Mode

To hide the logo, use the -s or --silent flag:

codefundi -e webServer/README.md -s

Help

To view the available options and commands, you can use the --help flag:

codefundi --help

This will display the help message, providing information about available options and how to use the CLI tool.
