if don't have a javascript package manager installed, see below for a method that will work for your OS
homebrew for macOS & linux
first run: brew tap samifouad/gild
then run: brew install gild
scoop for windows

gild requires a recent version of incus installed. if you use homebrew, it will be automatically installed when you run the install command. otherwise check out the incus website for installation instructions.
there are no other dependencies.
