The latter is so that it will have a filename that opens automatically in your torrent application.

Archive Torrents are broken for any use in the web (e.g. WebTorrent)
- Sit behind CORS
- Have no ws trackers and archive trackers are http rather than https
- Have a backup download link in http rather than https
