This is a modified module from here

ffmpeg static binaries for Mac OSX, Linux, and Windows.

Note: This version of ffmpeg-bin-electron follows SemVer. When releasing new versions, we do not consider breaking changes in ffmpeg itself, but only the JS interface (see below). To stop ffmpeg-bin-electron from breaking your code by getting updated, lock the version down or use a lockfile.

Developer

In order to download and prep the binaries you may need to change permissions for the shell script:

chmod +x binaries.sh

To run the script either execute sudo ./binaries.sh or sudo yarn run build-bin

Install

npm install --save ffmpeg-bin-electron
# or
yarn add ffmpeg-bin-electron

How to use

// ES6
import ffmpegPath from 'ffmpeg-bin-electron';
// ES5
const ffmpegPath = require('ffmpeg-bin-electron').default;


console.log(ffmpegPath);
