A generator for asp.net core application

Installation

First, install Yeoman and generator-aspnet-core using npm (we assume you have pre-installed node.js).

npm install -g yo
npm install -g generator-aspnet-core

Usage

Generate a controller:

yo aspnet-core:controller

You can choose between

• Entity framework
• Ioc with entity framework
• Ioc with viewmodel

Generate a IoC and UnitOfWork framework:

yo aspnet-core:data

You can choose between

• Single Repository, with UnitOfWork
• Entire Framework, this generate base class for UnitOfWork and Repository pattern

Know issue

You can add yourself the using nececessary to resolve your DbContext and Models

• Yeoman is a person with feelings and opinions, but is very easy to work with.
• Yeoman can be too opinionated at times but is easily convinced not to be.
