Timeify

ISO 8601 based time and date module. Parses an ISO string and returns an instance of the corresponding class.

Conventions

In contrast to the ISO 8601 standard this module assumes that times points are specified in UTC per default. This means in order to work with local times they must be explicitly entered with their offset (e.g. 17:45:34+0300) or the relevant flags must be set. This also means that the Z to denote UTC times is optional.

In order to fix the naming schema of native classes and unify it with the usage in the ISO 8601 specification the internal Instant class encapsulates the Javascript Date class. It defines an infinitely accurate moment in time.
